Health Care — Healthcare
We offer a variety of comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans that are meant to fit the diverse needs of you and your family. We also offer employees the options to participate in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to save tax-free dollars to pay for certain health care expenses not covered by your plans.

Employee Discount
We offer a 50% off employee discount for all Stemmers as soon as you join! Feel free to use this on any of our bouquet, succulents, or dried gifting options.

Family Planning
In addition to 12 paid weeks of parental leave, we partner with Maven Clinic, an on-demand virtual care platform for starting and raising a family. Maven not only provides on-demand virtual care but also clinically informed content, and a supportive community for new, current and prospective parents. If you or your partner are parents, thinking about pregnancy in the future, already pregnant, exploring fertility treatments like IVF or egg freezing, or considering adoption or surrogacy, UrbanStems offers you free, unlimited access.

**Time Off**
We have a highly competitive paid time off (PTO) plan for our corporate employees, including 20 vacation days, 5 sick days, 8 company paid holidays, and 6 (full day) summer Friday’s.

Volunteer Time Off
Volunteer Time off is available for Stemmers who would like to take an additional 1 day each year to participate in a volunteer program of their choice.

Commuter Program
Although we’re currently working remote, we understand that getting to work quickly and safely means employees can focus faster on what the day has in store for them. All employees are eligible to participate in a transit commuter benefit program that allows you to designate pre-tax dollars from your paycheck to eligible public transit and parking.

Savings and Retirement
All employees are eligible to participate in the company sponsored 401(k) program from the moment they join the team.

Stock Options
Stock options are included as part of every corporate employee’s compensation package. We want you to feel the value in growing with us longer term.

Employee Assistance Program
Through Insperity, our PEO, we offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that provides unlimited telephone and online confidential support, counseling, customized resources and referrals, along with a database of information on various home and work life topics, including substance abuse, marital problems, stress, and health education.

Friends and Family Discount
Employees can select 5 friends and family members to participate in a 15% site wide discount on all items.

Donation Matching Fund
UrbanStems is committed to invest in communities and organizations that allow for more individuals to lead happier lives. Our Charitable Donation Match Fund is for the purpose of matching donations made by our employees to various organizations.

Employee Giving Fund
We want our employees to contribute to organizations and charities that they are passionate about. Beginning each fiscal year, every eligible employee has $250/year that they can donate to a charity of their choosing.

Developmental Spending
Employees are encouraged to continually learn and study topics related to their positions in order to foster career growth. We have a budget dedicated to educational opportunities for all employees at UrbanStems.

Courier careers — Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity and inclusion is one of our top priorities at UrbanStems. We have a platform, and we will use it to highlight people of color and individuals who are contributing to the change we need. We are also donating to the ACLU, and will continue to speak out and fight racial injustice. But we know this is still not enough. Whether it’s by working with more Black-owned organizations, or hiring a more inclusive and diverse workforce, we will continue to do better. We have to do better.
We will use our platform to continue to address systemic racism and injustice, and have invested heavily in improving diversity throughout our hiring practices. We believe in doing our part and acting on our values.
